Privacy policy
Effective September 20, 2026
Bloom is a service of Well, Why Not? Ventures. This policy explains how information is used across Bloom’s website, membership, property-profile forms, weekly plans, and customer support.
Information you provide
We collect the information you submit when joining Bloom, completing a property profile, providing feedback, or contacting us. This can include your name, email address, ZIP code, selected Bloom sections, available time, effort preferences, and budget.
Depending on your selections, your profile may include home and equipment details, access limits, maintenance concerns, plants, wildlife interests, pools or water features, growing spaces, crops, food preferences, household size, gardening experience, and optional recipe preferences. Share only what is needed for your plan. Do not include passwords, payment-card numbers, medical records, or other sensitive details in free-text answers.
Membership and payments
Stripe processes payments and manages billing. Bloom’s workflow uses checkout and subscription identifiers and payment and subscription status to determine whether to prepare your plan. Payment information entered in Stripe’s checkout is handled by Stripe. See Stripe’s privacy policy for its practices.
Website and usage information
Website hosting services process technical information needed to serve pages, such as IP addresses, browser information, and requests. Bloom uses Google Analytics to understand website visits and improve the site. Analytics can use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about pages visited, browser or device characteristics, and interactions.
You can manage or block cookies in your browser. Google also provides an Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Browser cookie settings do not erase records you previously submitted through forms or checkout. See Google’s privacy policy.
How we use information
- Prepare weekly recommendations using your selected sections, profile, time budget, and local forecast.
- Check membership eligibility, deliver plans by email, and manage billing-related service issues.
- Respond to support requests and feedback and improve Bloom’s service.
- Maintain service records, investigate technical problems or misuse, and meet applicable legal obligations.
AI-generated plans and service providers
Bloom uses OpenAI to generate personalized recommendations. Relevant profile answers and local forecast information are sent to OpenAI through Make. Generated plans and workflow records may be stored by the services involved. Do not submit information you do not want processed in this way. Plans are automated suggestions and can be inaccurate; use your judgment and seek qualified help for hazardous work.
Bloom’s service providers include Tally for forms, Airtable for profile and plan records, Make for automation, OpenAI for plan generation, Visual Crossing for ZIP-code weather forecasts, Stripe for payments, Supabase for member sign-in and storing weekly lists and member edits, Google/Gmail for email and analytics, and OpenAI Sites/Cloudflare for website hosting. These providers process information relevant to their roles and may operate in countries outside your own.
We may disclose information when required by law or when necessary to address fraud, security incidents, or legal claims. Links to other services lead to pages with their own privacy practices.
Retention and security
Profile answers, generated plans, communications, billing references, and operational records can remain in the services used to deliver Bloom. Canceling membership stops future subscription billing according to Stripe’s cancellation settings; it does not automatically delete your existing Bloom records.
You can request deletion by contacting us below. Some records may need to be retained for accounting, legal, security, or dispute-resolution purposes, and provider backups or logs may follow separate retention schedules. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and requests
Use Manage membership for billing and cancellation. Email bloom@wellwhynotventures.com for membership or billing help, or to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your Bloom information, update your profile, or ask a privacy question. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Rights and exceptions depend on where you live. Deleting information needed for personalization or delivery may prevent us from providing your plan.
Children
Bloom’s paid membership is intended for adults managing a home or garden. Please contact us if you believe a child has submitted personal information so we can investigate and address it.
Policy updates and contact
We will update this page and its effective date when our practices change. For questions, contact Well, Why Not? Ventures at bloom@wellwhynotventures.com or (937) 414-8059.
